Executive Leadership Team
Chief Executive Officer
Jon-Michael Rains is the System CEO for Carrus Hospitals. Jon says, “I have a definite passion for healthcare, and people, which is why I chose to become a nurse. At the age of sixteen, I began working in a full-service, level one trauma facility and I have continued to learn about hospital operations ever since and, more importantly, how they directly impact patient care. When I was offered my first job in Quality, I knew that administration was the place where I could make a difference in the hospital and patient care overall. I feel that the incorporation of exceptional outcomes, patient-centered care, and physician and employee satisfaction are instrumental in the success of an organization.”
Jon is a Texan by birth and has resided in the Sherman/Denison area for the last several years with his family. He currently serves on the Board of The Child and Family Guidance Center of Texoma. Jon enjoys traveling and working on medically centered mission trips with various foundations.
